At 1North Adventure Trails, we’ve built over 20 miles of thoughtfully designed, non-motorized trails across 547 acres of beautiful northwest Louisiana forest. Our system features a perfect mix of flowy, bike-optimized singletrack—with berms, rollers, bridges, and natural features for an exciting mountain biking experience—and wide, accessible multi-use paths ideal for hiking, trail running, and family outings. Whether you’re chasing technical descents through dense pine and hardwood canopies or enjoying a peaceful walk beside serene ponds and shaded overlooks, every trail is crafted to connect you with nature.

Where is 1North Adventure Trails located?
We’re situated on 547 acres of beautiful northwest Louisiana forest, just north of Blanchard at 9100 Hwy 1, Blanchard, LA 71006. Easy access from Shreveport—about 20-30 minutes north.
What are the park hours?
The park is open daily from dawn to dusk (sunrise to sunset). Always check our app or Facebook for any temporary closures due to weather, maintenance, or events.
Is there an entry fee or parking fee?
Entry and parking are currently free! We’re a public recreation area managed by the Red River Waterway Commission—no admission charges at this time.
What activities are allowed?
Non-motorized only: mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. We have bike-optimized singletrack for exciting rides and wider multi-use paths perfect for hiking and running. No horses, motorized vehicles, or off-trail travel.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, leashed pets are welcome on the trails! Please clean up after them and keep them under control for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Are the trails open to all skill levels?
Absolutely—we offer a mix! Wide, family-friendly multi-use paths for beginners and hikers, plus flowy singletrack with berms and features for intermediate/advanced mountain bikers. Check the app’s Trails section for details and difficulty ratings.
What should I bring and know for safety?
Bring plenty of water, bug spray, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and a phone (signal can be spotty). Stay on marked trails, watch for wildlife, and ride/hike with a buddy if possible. We have emergency response support on-site, including a dedicated UTV.
